Screeching Devil

Image
Music and worship has really been on my mind and heart this week. It started Sunday when Pastor Toti talked about how powerful it is to sing out loud. Even if it's in your car, sing at the top of your lungs to your favorite worship songs. Matt heard a quote that said "it's like nails down a chalk board to the Devil when we sing praise songs. It makes him screech out loud." I love the idea of that! And I love to sing! On that note, I was listeneing to Air1 on Monday and heard a song that was new to me. I instantly pulled out my phone and "Shazaamed" it. (For those of you who who are unawares of the Shazaam app, it is glorious and allows you to put your phone up to your radio when you don't know a song and it tells you all the info about it!) So, my phone told me that it was a song called "Dead Come to Life" by Jonathan Thulin feat. Charmaine. Well, that got me to looking him up when I was at home. I had Matt listen to t...

What a week! It's been so busy I haven't blogged since last Thursday, but good thing I keep a handy-dandy Note on my phone complete with blogging ideas: 5 guitar player Matt's spaghetti Gay pic Shampooing TV Renters Budget blessings That's it! Have a good day! Just kidding! Allow me to elaborate on this cryptic phone Note of mine... The 5 guitar video is as follows: Enough said b/c it's simply amazing! Matt's spaghetti: He surprised me last Wed. night with spaghetti a cookin' when I came home from the gym! He prides himself in his "secret recipe" which includes eggs in his sauce... And it was good! The one downfall were the chunks of deer meat in the sauce. Now, I have had a strict diet of NO red meat for about nine years up until about 3 months ago. I just figured it was time to branch out and try some of this foreign food I'd heard so much about. Plus, I'm pretty sure I'm ...

Video by the talented Clayton Stringer of Stringer Productions . Matt & I sat on the couch just crying together at how beautifully Clayton captured our Big Day! Hope you enjoy it as much as we did...   Also, after watching an incredibly intense episode of Grey's last week, I was captured by the ending song by Snow Patrol. So, naturally, I bought their CD which was only released this last Tuesday! Check it out here ! I know that link is to Amazon, but you can also find it on iTunes. Thanks to my dear friend, Tyler Sisneros who gave us a late wedding gift  in the form of an iTunes card. These could possibly be my most favorite gift cards EVER! Right on up there with Starbucks. & Amazon for sure. There are countless albums I could buy everyday especially when they're on sale! AGHHH...

"Burger" Boy

How odd. I just noticed that my butt isn't near as sore today as it was yesterday, and I even did a 2nd Spin class yesterday... That's strange. Anywho, my 2nd attempt at Spin was BRUTAL! The instructor looked AWESOME, and wanted all of us to look AWESOME as well, I guess, b/c she worked us to the bone. I guess "Never trust a skinny cook" goes the same for fitness instructors, "Never trust a fat instructor." Is that rude? Sorry if it is! But you get what I'm saying, right? Walker visited me at work today. I love that he enjoys visiting GiGi at the office so much even if it only means that he gets to sit on the couch eating candy and watching "Pink Nanther". (That's "Panther" for those of you who don't speak 5-year-old boy.) At one point he was sitting on the edge of the couch looking very uncomfortable. I said, "What's up, bud?" To which he answered my sticking out his pointer finger at me and saying, "I'...
